Other records include those of the Indian Arts and Crafts Board, concerning a 1941 exhibit of Indian art at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, 1939-41; a Revenue Office letter books, 1794-96, relating to the Treasury business of the War Department, which contains some information about purchase of goods for Indians, a calendar of papers relating to the Black Hawk War; a record of the distribution of Henry R. Schoolcraft's HISTORICAL AND STATISTICAL INFORMATION RESPECTING THE HISTORY, CONDITION, AND PROSPECTS OF THE INDIAN TRIBES OF THE UNITED STATES; and a set of index cards identified as a "Biographical and Historical Index of American Indians and Persons Involved in Indian Affairs," which was published in eight volumes by the G.K. Hall Co.

The Alaska Public Works Program was authorized during the 81st Congress through the Alaska Public Works Act, Public Law 264. The Act authorized the General Services Administration to construct public works in Alaska, at a total cost of $70 million, then to sell them to the Territory of Alaska or other public bodies in Alaska at a purchase price that would recover approximately 50% of the total estimated cost.
